"If he did not think she was capable, he would not have picked her. But it is a question of consistently rising to the occasion," one anonymous former official told Reuters."The vice president's job really is to make sure that you carry the mission of the administration forward and she has done that very successfully around the country," outgoing Labor Secretary Marty Walsh said.
Another anonymous official said a point of tension in the Biden-Harris relationship"is that I don't think that the president sees her as somebody who takes anything off of his plate." Reuters reported that "People close to them say Biden and Harris like each other and get along well."Several right-rated sources used the report to frame Biden and Harris as being at odds.
