Demonic Horror When Evil Lurks from Terrified director Demián Rugna, is coming to theaters and Shudder this October.
When Evil Lurks tells the story of a pair of brothers who find a mutilated corpse near their home. They decide to enlist the help of their neighbors to try and figure out where it came from. They soon learn that this and other odd happenings in their village are the cause of a spirit that’s found its way into a local man waiting for the proper protocols to rid his body of the festering demon.
The movie is set to receive its premiere at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival’s Midnight Madness.released in 2017 to acclaim from the horror press. The movie sees a Police Commissioner and three researchers of supernatural phenomena investigate inexplicable events that are occurring in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. It had been due for a remake produced by Guillermo Del Toro.
