Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Peacemaker season 2 gets its first significant DC Universe story update by James Gunn. With Gunn's Superman movie in production, DC Studios is getting ready to be busier than ever as they have multiple TV shows and films in development that will take part in Chapter 1, "Gods and Monsters.
According to Gunn, Peacemaker season 2 will be taking place after the events of the new Superman movie. At the time of this story's publication, it's unclear if it means that Peacemaker season 2 will be released in 2025, sometime after Superman. As Gunn confirmed that Peacemaker season 2 takes place after Superman, it wouldn't be shocking if it ultimately released in late 2025. However, Gunn also gave an update on the Waller TV show, stating that it will take place right after Peacemaker. If Waller starts shooting later this year too, it would make sense for it to come out not long after Peacemaker season 2.
