Fiesta’s barely over but the party’s on again from Market Square, obviously, to The Rustic on the North Side.

SAN ANTONIO — There hasn’t even been time to sweep up all the confetti from Fiesta and another party is upon us. Like Fiesta, it’s a holiday that marks athough it’s become much more of an excuse for revelry in the U.S. than in Mexico. Whether it is a party, a concert or a bar crawl, there’s something for almost everyone in San Antonio to enjoy.
The biggest event actually takes place after Cinco de Mayo at Market Square, which will host two days of family fun. Cinco de Mayo Weekend will feature games, food, shops, live music and and a piñata candy drop.Brick at Blue Star: This venue’s usual First Friday celebration will be a special Cinco de Mayo-themed party. More than 30 vendors will be selling crafts and refreshments, while Vanita Leo, Combo Cosmico and Los Juanos perform through the night.The party starts while the sun’s still out at this Southtown institution, which will have a mariachi power hour with Mariachi Melodias de Mexico and drink specials.: Enjoy a nice stroll to a handful of downtown bars during this themed crawl.
