John Kreese (Martin Kove) looking evil in Cobra Kai season 6
Summary Cobra Kai season 6 part 1's Tory twist came with an interesting tease for Kreese's team. In a surprising turn of events, Peyton List's Tory Nichols turned her back on her friends and quit the dojo ahead of the Sekai Taikai tournament. What's worse for Cobra Kai's main characters, is that she's decided to align with her former mentor, Martin Kove's John Kreese.
Why Cobra Kai Appears To Be Hiding Kreese's Other Two Tournament Fighters Curiously, Kreese and Kim only had four students at their side, even though six members are required for each time. In addition to Tory and Kwon, there was a pair of unnamed students from Kim's dojo. As for the remaining two members of the team, it's unclear who they are. Theoretically, they too could be among the South Korean students that Kim has already been training.
That being the case would explain why Cobra Kai may not be ready to unveil Kreese's whole team. Part of that could also have to do with the possibility that one - or both - of the two students is an existing character. The significance of such a reveal would be limited, especially, since the focus of the final scene is Tory's surprise betrayal. Another twist in the same scene would distract from the shock of seeing Tory teaming up with Kreese again.
For that reason, there's a chance he's on the team as well, begrudgingly working with Kwon. How the two get past this issue could be dealt with at some point in Cobra Kai season 6 part 2 and perhaps add some tension to their side of the story. This could also help develop Kwon's character and set up a tough fight for someone like Demetri or Hawk.
