“He’s staring down the barrel of two guns — trying to beat Bobby Casey is not an easy thing to do, even in a great environment,” GOP strategist Vince Galko said. “The other thing is, does he want to be running in a swing state with Donald Trump at the top of the ticket? Democrats, meanwhile, are already treating McCormick as the Republican nominee and are preparing for to Casey face him in a race that could determine control of the Senate.
