Delta Air Lines is relaunching its Delta SkyMiles credit cards. Here's why you should sign up.

Individuals already hooked on Delta who plan to fly more frequently throughout the year, but not enough to earn status, should explore the Delta SkyMiles Gold Card. This card has a modest annual fee of $99 and comes with more incentives for Delta fliers that can make traveling easier than the SkyMiles Blue Card.

The Delta SkyMiles Platinum Card has a massive welcome bonus. Earn 80,000 bonus miles after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first three months and an additional 20,000 bonus miles after the account’s first anniversary, totaling 100,000 potential bonus miles. This is a huge welcome bonus. To put it in perspective, we’ve seen round-trip tickets to Europe for as low as 26,000 miles.

But if that’s the main benefit that you care about, you can achieve it with the Delta SkyMiles Gold Card with only a $99 annual fee that’s waived the first year.
