UPDATE: On Friday about 130 personnel from multiple fire departments fought the fire, which was about 300 acres with no containment, according to the sheriff's office. Firefighters will work overnight and more firefighters are being sent to the scene.
A section of Moss Rock Drive that dips into Boulder County has been issued an evacuation notice. An Everbridge alert has been sent to the affected area, according to the Boulder Office of Emergency Management.
“As always, if you feel unsafe at any time, please evacuate, and do not wait for an evacuation order,” the Boulder emergency office said.
