As the Chiefs kick off the NFL season with high hopes of a three-peat Super Bowl championship, an important, non-football-related question is hanging in the air: Will Taylor Swift be returning as Kansas City’s superfan? The Chiefs officially start the football season Thursday night with a home-field advantage against the Baltimore Ravens, a team they barreled past in the AFC championship game earlier this year.
They were later seen on social media celebrating at parties together. Since that fateful September game against the Bears, the couple has been seen publicly supporting each other in their careers, with Swift in a box at Chiefs games and Kelce in the VIP tent at the Eras Tour numerous times.
