A 40-year-old skydiver outfitted with a wingsuit was decapitated in south France in 2018, after the plane he jumped out of clipped him nearly 20 seconds into the fall.

Testimony provided showed 40-year-old Nicholas Galy was one of a pair of skydivers who jumped from about 14,000 feet over the town of Bouloc-en-Quercy out of a single-engine Pilatus airplane in July 2018.The pilot of the plane, only identified as 64-year-old Alain C, descended rapidly after the two wingsuit-outfitted skydivers evacuated the aircraft, catching up with them as they glided across the sky.
