WASHINGTON –

Former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders are separated by fewer than 100 delegates as six states – Idaho, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota and Washington – head out to vote Tuesday.while Sanders is in striking distance at 573. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii also remains in the Democratic primary, but has only amassed two delegates in the first 19 contests.

On the heels of last week's Super Tuesday, where Biden surpassed Sanders in the delegate race, both candidates have their eyes on Michigan.
