My drive partner and I could not get the system to work, despite repeated attempts in both the i7 and 760i. After a few meetings with BMW engineers, they determined that the cloth masks we were wearing over the nose and mouth prevented the interior cameras from getting a good reading of our faces. They also said ultraviolet coatings on our glasses can create issues for these interior cameras.
