Officials are asking for anyone with information on a road rage shooting on northbound State Route 167 near Grady Way to come forward.

According to the Washington State Patrol , the shooting occurred around 7 p.m. and the victim was not injured. WSP said the victim called 911 about 20 minutes after the shooting happened. The victim told WSP they were traveling NB SR 167 in their white Toyota Camry when a black Jeep Cherokee attempted to pass them but could not due to traffic. The driver of the black Jeep threw a fast-food cup at the victim near the intersection of Grady Way then the victim retaliated and threw a hydro flask at the Jeep. The Jeep then pulled along side of the victim and the driver, described as a black man in his 30s with a small beard, fired one shot from a handgun.
The victim then sped through a red light to get away and proceeded to drive home. Once home, the victim noticed a bullet hole in the right front fender. Troopers confirmed the bullet hole and said the bullet was lodged in the wheel well and was not accessible.Stay Connected
