Woman, 33, arrested on suspicion of robbing Mountain View bank [Breaking]
A 33-year-old woman was jailed Thursday on suspicion of robbing a credit union in the Mountain View neighborhood, San Diego police said.
The robbery happened just before 3:30 p.m. at a Navy Federal Credit Union branch on Imperial Avenue west of South 40th Street, Officer Robert Heims said. A woman walked up to a teller and demanded money, Heims said. She took the money, put it in her purse and left.Near the bank, officers found a woman matching the description of the robber. Heims said she was identified as the thief and was arrested.
