The fire was reported about 1:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of Burger Avenue, off South Malcolm X Boulevard. Firefighters extinguished the blaze within half an hour.One firefighter was taken to a hospital to be evaluated but has since been released and is “fine,” Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said.
