A woman was hospitalized Monday after she was dragged by a car containing two suspects who had stolen her purse in an Oakland bank parking lot.

OAKLAND — A woman was hospitalized Monday afternoon after she was dragged by a car containing two suspects who had robbed her of her purse in an Uptown bank parking lot, authorities said.The robbery happened about 12:29 p.m. Monday in the rear parking lot of the Wells Fargo Bank on the 2000 block of Webster Street.

When the woman tried to retrieve her purse, she got caught in the vehicle’s door and was dragged more than 50 feet before falling free in the middle of the street.Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the suspects. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3326 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
