Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said the alleged crime is a growing concern.
deputy constable through a parking lot after getting into a verbal fight at a fast food restaurant on Thursday.Pct. 4 has identified the woman as Christina Amanda Pabon. The off-duty deputy was approaching Pabon's vehicle when she tried to take off, Pct. 4 said, dragging the deputy through the parking lot. The deputy reportedly briefly lost consciousness.
A struggle broke out while the deputy attempted to detain Pabon until another deputy got to the scene and was able to take her into custody. Pabon was arrested and is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury.
