Clark drove all the way from South Carolina to Pasadena, California to help her daughter move away from what she called a "bad situation." Her daughter packed everything she owned into a 5x8 U-Haul trailer.“Her whole life was packed up in this littler trailer, this U-Haul trailer," Clark said. "We drove here to also pack up my son, who was living in Ogden.”
Clark and her daughter were staying at the La Quinta Hotel west of Salt Lake City International Airport, planning to search homeless shelters and parks for any sign of Alexander. “We can confirm at 5:48 on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, our officers responded to 4905 West Wiley Post Way to take a theft report. The investigation is ongoing.”
