Nighttime traffic restrictions will be in place throughout the week at the Centerville Road interchange.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced that work will continues this week at the Centerville Road Interchange Improvement Project in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County.Monday night, the contractor will close the right lane on Eastbound Route 30 to remove barrier at the start of the off ramp to Centerville Road and reset it at the top of the ramp.
Thursday night, the contractor will close the right lane of Westbound Route 30 to remove and reset barrier. The existing off ramp from Westbound Route 30 to Centerville Road will be closed and a temporary off-ramp will open. Rolling stops could be encountered while the existing ramp is closed and the temporary ramp is opened. There will be flagging on Centerville Road at the interchange. Barrier will be set on the west side of Centerville Road from the interchange to Estelle Drive.
This work is part of the Centerville Road Interchange Improvement project, which consists of structure replacement, Superpave overlay, base replacement, roadway widening, milling, guiderail improvements, drainage improvements, pavement markings, ADA improvements, traffic signal improvements, and other miscellaneous construction. The project includes work on Centerville Road from Cornerstone Drive to Marietta Avenue , and Marietta Avenue from Centerville Road to Stony Battery Road.
