"It’s just very moving and very touching," she said. "We don’t have any service members currently in our family, but we just have to honor and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice."In 2008, more than 100,000 wreaths were placed on veterans’ graves in the U.S. RelatedSaturday marked Wreaths Across America Day, where volunteers laid wreaths at the tombstones of the men and women who fought for our country.
"We need more and more people to help us every year. Last year, we had 5,000 people out there and we laid 52,500 wreaths. We’re going to need 58,500 wreaths this year," he said.
