Survival of the fittest.
Every member of the X-Men possesses unique physiologies, granting them powers ranging from weather manipulation to kinetic duplication. Many mutants have abilities that make them significantly more powerful, but few compare to the god-like levels of Thor. However, X-Factor member Darwin once used his mutation to ascend to godhood and gain power that trumped even the Goddess of Death.
Darwin Once Adapted To Become The God Of Death The mutant Armando Muñoz adopted the name “Darwin” due to his ability to adapt his body to survive any condition, akin to a living version of Charles Darwin's theories. He could fireproof his skin, alter his eyes to see in the dark, or soften his bones to survive a fall from great heights. In his early days with the X-Men, his power proved to be invaluable, when he converted his body into energy in order to save his teammate Vulcan.
