I’m a supporter of law enforcement. It’s a tough and thankless job, and I appreciate all officers do for the safety of the community, but the dereliction of duty that awful day in Uvalde was abhorrent, unconscionable and unforgivable. These were children. We, as Texans, demand accountability, and we will have it.I would like to thank Tony Dow for all the examples he set playing Wally in “Leave it to Beaver.” We watched those episodes every week.
Not all of us young boys in the ’60s had as perfect a life as the character of Wally. But many of us were pretty good young men with big hearts and caring minds.Can’t stop the future Russian President Vladimir Putin’s choices would be destruction of his conventional military or the use of nuclear weapons that would destroy millions of people.
