Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Friday he trusts that President Joe Biden wants to help repel the Russian invasion — as he begged for fighter jets and missiles.
“We don’t want to receive a million of quality bulletproof vests, or some special brand helmets,” Zelensky said.
Zelensky — who wore a trademark olive-drab military T-shirt for the remote appearance — also said he believed “that the people of the United States want that.” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky prefers his forces to be supplied with anti-tank missile weapons instead of “a million of quality bulletproof vests.”“I don’t want to believe that some — some partners of ours are playing games. We want simple peace for our nation.”
