The Zoo Bus is back for the summer season!

Daily service starts on Saturday and will run seven days a week through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4.

Riders can board the bus at the Statehouse downtown, at the Griggs Dam Park & Ride or at the Dublin Park & Ride. Zoo Bus will operate five trips per day, with the first departing from State and High Streets at 8:14 a.m. and the last vehicle leaving the zoo at 7:15 p.m., returning downtown around 8 p.m.

The Zoo Bus costs $2 per adult and $1 for children under the age of 12. No charge is required for children under five.

Police in Henderson, Kentucky, said they were called Sunday about a body floating in the river and authorities preliminary identified the remains as those of escaped inmate Bradley Gillespie, 50. The discovery closes out a dayslong manhunt. Authorities said fellow escapee James Lee, 47, was captured last Wednesday after a police pursuit of a stolen car in Henderson but Gillespie, a passenger in the car, ran off. Authorities say the two had fled a Lima Ohio, prison after hiding in a trash container.
