One person was killed in a three-car crash on Sunday at a northeast Plano intersection, police said.
Police responded to the crash around 3:40 p.m. at the intersection of Custer Road and Legacy Drive, wherePolice said a driver in a Volkswagen Jetta was speeding south on Custer Road when a Ford Fusion driving north tried turning left onto Legacy Drive with its turn signal on. The Volkswagen hit the Ford’s passenger side, causing the car to spin and hit a Nissan Rogue stopped at the intersection, police said.
A passenger in the Ford did not survive the crash. The person’s name will be released after next of kin is notified, police said.drivers were taken to a local hospital, and the Nissan driver was not injured, police said..
