Detectives were on the scene of the shooting for about two hours Friday night, according to police.
Two people were shot near Locust and Second streets in downtown Harrisburg on Friday evening, according to police.
Lt. Kyle Gautsch confirmed that a man and woman were hit by gunfire on the street around 5 p.m., and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives were on the scene until around 7 p.m. Second and Locust were quiet after the scene was cleared, with the restaurants open in the area as normal.Gautsch asked that anyone with information or who witnessed the shooting contact Harrisburg police at 717-558-6900.
