Honda's affordable manual-equipped Civic just got more modern and more livable.
The expensive and exceptional Civic Type R may get more of the buzz, but Honda still makes a relatively affordable manual performance car, too. That variant, the Civic Si, is getting an update for 2025 without losing its signature standard manual transmission.Performance upgrades start with a stiffer chassis, thanks to a lower B-pillar and rear door sill.
The manual transmission's auto-blip downshift feature has been expanded to integrate with shifts from second to first gear, too.Comfort upgrades are led by heated front seats, integrated into the existing Si-exclusive bolstered bucket seats. Updates carried over from other facelifted Civics include a digital instrument cluster, built-in Google app integration for the car's operating system, and improvements to standard advanced driver assistance systems like adaptive cruise control.
