Alabama actor Michael Rooker is front and center in the upcoming movie “White Elephant,” which also will be among the last for action giant Bruce Willis.
Some of Rooker’s most high-profile recent roles -- Yondu in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” Savant in -- have had him in heavy character makeup. That’s not the case with this role: He’s Gabriel Tancredi, a mob enforcer doing dirty work for a heavy played by Bruce Willis.of dirty work, and he’s good at it. That’s up until he’s supposed to kill a cop played by Olga Kurylenko . For reasons that aren’t made clear in the trailer, he balks and the two end up fighting for their lives against an army sent by Willis’ character.
