The word so many parents in Bellevue do not want to hear again is back: consolidation.
This time, however, the Bellevue School District is doing things a little bit differently, displaying a new round of data and analysis on its website.
But the decline is much larger in elementary schools, down 21% during the same five years. Bellevue’s average elementary school enrollment is now 475. And the district said sixth through eighth grade enrollments are expected to see slight increases in the next 3-5 years before decreasing by 2030.
