Brighton PD: Multiple harassment reports prompt extra charges for St. John Fisher suspect

The suspect accused of trying to kidnap a staff member at St. John Fisher University earlier this week is facing new charges in Brighton.

Brighton, N.Y. — "He was harassing a couple of females and this was taking place over a couple of years period," said Brighton police chief David Catholdi.

"It was threatening and unwanted behavior and it was unwanted enough that they reported it to the police and we took the steps that we could take."
