It’s corn! The yearly flea market maze pops back into the Southwest Side.
The “Corny Maze” operated by Traders Village encompasses three separate mazes covering 10 acres — one half-mile maze designed for children and two more winding over 1.8 and 2.5 miles.
The maze debuts today and remains open every Saturday and Sunday in October and November from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Things to do this weekend in San Antonio: Flaming Lips, Banda MS, Kevin James, Randy RainbowThe maze’s design draws inspiration from previous iterations, famous San Antonio buildings and the market’s mascot — Freddy the Flea.
Admission to the maze is $9.99 per person; $15.99 adds all-day access to the carnival rides available in the market. A petting zoo, pumpkin patch and inflatable slide are included with the price of admission. Traders Village’s website advises guests to wear closed-toe shoes and warns of potential “wild animals, snakes, etc” in the maze. Paths within the maze are not paved.
