Steven Daniel Young guilty of first-degree murder in shooting of 32-year-old Charly Lewis in Denver in 2020.
“It’s believed that Young killed Lewis, in part, because she had witnessed Young commit a murder six days earlier in Aurora,” the release said. Young was convicted of the Aurora murder in April of 2021.
“I am grateful to the jury for reaching this verdict, which I hope will provide some measure of comfort to Charly Lewis’s family,” said Assistant District Attorney Maggie Conboy, in the release.
