Area shelters’ dogs and cats need their “forever” homes.

Peanut is Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter’s pet of the week. Gingersnap and Snickerdoodle are Milo Point Richmond’s pets of the week. I’m Basil! At 7 months old, I’m a very active little boy and love to play! I can be quite curious and like to chew on toys amongst other things, so I need plenty of enrichment and someone with a fairly tidy home so I don’t ingest anything harmful. After a long day of silly antics, I turn into a big snuggler and will happily come to you for cuddles and pets.

No wonder, since we love to hang with them and sleep on their laps. Contact Marilyn at [email protected]. Community Concern for Cats now holds weekend adoption events at Pet Food Express stores in Walnut Creek and Martinez along with our regular location at 1250-H Newell Ave. in Walnut Creek.
