MARICOPA, Ariz. — Crews from several fire departments are working to contain a brush fire located around 15 miles west of Maricopa and just south of Goodyear that has grown to 1,000 acres.said the fire, which has been named the Flying Bucket Fire, started Monday afternoon and is near State Route 238 and 99th Avenue.
An emergency supply kit should be put together long before a wildfire or another disaster occurs. Make sure to keep it easily accessible so you can take it with you when you have to evacuate.
