Investigators said Michael Hernandez is accused of killing 29-year-old Michael Ray Zepeda.
BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — San Antonio Police have identified the man charged with shooting and killing another man on the Southwest side Saturday morning.“Three times he was shot, three times,” Zepeda’s mother, Linda Arzola said.
Arzola said Zepeda was her first born. She spent Monday afternoon at a funeral home, having to make plans to lay him to rest. “I’ve cried enough, I don’t want to cry no more but I know I’m going to cry more,” Arzola said. “My kids, my kids are hurting.” Police said they got a call about a shooting at an apartment complex from a woman claiming her ex-boyfriend shot her current boyfriend multiple times in the stomach in the parking lot.The accused shooter, Hernandez, ran from the scene but was later caught a mile away. Police said Hernandez and the woman had three children together but have been separated for more than a year.Arzola said Zepeda was a loving father of three children himself who was training to become a personal trainer.
