On Wednesday, Jacksonville Police released photos of an SUV believed to be involved in a hit and run crash on the Northside.
JSO says the incident happened on 8th Street near I-95 back on May 3rd just after 7:50 in the evening. Police say the person driving the Silver SUV hit someone else trying to cross the street, the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. We’re told the driver did not stop to help, and the SUV was last seen headed north on the I-95 ramp from 8th Street.
JSO says the SUV had front-end damage to the passenger side. Police are looking for the vehicle and the driver responsible.
