The seal for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas sits on a chair in the Federal Courthouse Tuesday Sept. 18, 2018 in Houston.A Katy man was sentenced to spend five years in federal prisonIn 2019, Jonathan Allen Frost, 24, planned an attack and recruited, trained and equipped other men with a gun and a"suicide necklace" containing fentanyl as part of the plot, the Justice Department said.

“These defendants plotted armed attacks against energy facilities to stoke division in furtherance of white supremacist ideology and now they are being held accountable,” said Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division in a press release. “The Justice Department will not tolerate the use of violence to advance any extremist ideology and we remain determined to protect our communities from such hateful acts of terror.

The men worked together to promote white supremacy and neo-Nazism, according to the Justice Department. Their plan was to attack power substations using powerful riles with the intent of causing millions of dollars in damages and creating civil unrest. The men talked about their attacks possibly leading to a race war or another Great Depression, according to prosecutors.

The men were pulled over by police in Ohio, and during the traffic stop Sawall swallowed his suicide pill, according to court documents. He survived, but any Ohio plans were apparently disrupted.
