LAS VEGAS — Cole Swider hit five 3-pointers and finished with 21 points and Javante McCoy added 14 points and seven assists as the Lakers beat New Orleans, 102-94, on Friday night to eliminate the Pelicans from Summer League championship contention.
The Lakers trailed 27-19 after one quarter but they outscored the Pelicans 33-17 in the second quarter to take the lead for good.
