And so if we don’t have that opportunity to show people what we can do, and we just spend our time defending somebody who should be defending themselves, what are we doing, you know? It’s not something that we can get past.

The Saskatchewan Progress Party unveiled its new name and logo on July 19, 2023. The party had previously operated as the Saskatchewan Liberal Party.Q: How do you think this move will help you differentiate yourselves from the Saskatchewan NDP? Good policies and good ideas come from all parts of the political spectrum; to completely ignore something because of some ideological straitjacket is ridiculous. Whatever helps bring the greatest good to the greatest number of people should be on the table, at least discussed.

And so, offering fresh perspectives and fresh ideas is not just good for our party. It’s not just good for our followers, and for the people that volunteer for us, but it’s good for the province and good for democracy.
