Mugen Takes Its Turn On The New Honda Civic Type R | Carscoops carscoops
Honda didn’t say much about the concept other than it “embodies the passion for Civic Type R by utilizing the motorsports know-how and technology that Mugen has cultivated”.
From the official photos, we can see that the Honda Civic Type R Mugen Concept comes fitted with a much more aggressive body kit. At the front, the highlight is the carbon fiber bonnet, featuring a number of supposedly functional air vents. The same material has been used for the pronounced splitter which connects to the central bumper intake. The splitter looks very similar to the one used by the Civic Type R that is competing in the Super Taikyu Series.
