What will most likely wind up happening, according to Isomura, is that Opera In the Heights will at least temporarily become a “nomadic” company, rotating between stages in the area as they become available.

Currently, Isomura says Opera in the Heights shares Lambert Hall with a dance school, an art school, and a summer camp. The city’s historic-preservation ordinance precludes the building from being torn down.
