PennLive is hosting meeting with candidates in all the major offices, and only the incumbent Dauphin County Commissioner have declined the invitation to speak to our readers and to the general public.
ookCandidates for Pennsylvania's Supreme Court met with the Editorial Board for PennLive and The Patriot-News on Thursday, Oct. 12, to discuss their qualifications and platforms before the Nov. 7 general election.The Editorial Board of PennLive & The Patriot-News has invited candidates for Dauphin County Commissioner to meet at noon Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, to discuss their qualifications and platforms as voters look to the Nov. 7 general elections.
The incumbent Dauphin County Commissioners did not offer an alternative time to meet with the board to answer questions from voters. They also did not give a reason for declining the invitation. Candidates for Cumberland County Commissioner have confirmed they will meet noon Thursday, Oct. 19. They include Jean Foschi , John Matthew Smith , Kelly Neiderer and Gary Eichelberger .
