The upcoming miniseries — based on a popular book with the same name — will star Zoe Saldana and comes loaded with pasta, tomatoes and lots of amore.
The story follows study abroad student Amahle Wheeler as she explores the Italian city of Sicily. While there, she falls in love with the city's culture and food as well as with a struggling Italian chef.“From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily and Finding Home,Locke’s memoir detailed her journey in piecing her life back together in the wake of her Italian husband’s death., Locke shared that her husband Saro fell in love with her at first sight.
