Natalie Kindt, whose older sister Olivia was a goalkeeper for Munster, has recorded five shutouts in her third season as the starter.
Senior goalkeeper Natalie Kindt is 8-3-1 after recording her fifth shutout of the season in Munster’s 5-0 win against Highland on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023.Her earliest memories of playing the position were guided by different motivations, however.“I liked it better than running when I was younger,” Kindt said. “The coach put me there, and I was like, ‘Wow, this is actually fun.’ I realized it’s so much better than playing the field.
Natalie Kindt is 8-3-1 with a 1.11 goals-against average after making four saves in the Mustangs’ 5-0 Northwest Crossroads Conference win against Highland on Tuesday. It was her fifth shutout of the season and sets up Munster for a first-place showdown at Hanover Central on Sept. 26. “She has her own internal drive to be better, so she does everything she needs to do,” Pflum said. “This season, her recovery from diving is a lot faster than it was before. Not that it was ever slow, but it’s like she doesn’t even hit the ground anymore.”
