The bodies of three men were found with injuries at a cemetery in Perris, California, sparking a triple homicide investigation.
However, KTLA reported that police are investigating if the killings may be tied to two deadly shootings that occurred in Perris earlier in February.
"On behalf of the Perris City Council, I am heartbroken by the horrific crimes that have taken place today in our hometown of Perris," he said. Vargas urged people to be cautious about spreading misinformation and asked anyone with information about the crimes to report them to the sheriff's department.
