Three 2020 Embrace Ambition Speakers Share Their Stories of Inspiration and Success

It was fascinating to hear about her work with the Barbie design team creating a doll with a realistic removable prosthetic leg. She believes by helping kids think of prosthetics and other disabilities as a normal course of life it becomes less daunting and scary for others. Her work on NASA’s Space Launch System – what she says was one of the most powerful rockets ever designed – was the fulfillment of a lifelong goal to be part of a project that has the potential to change the course of human history.
Since that time, Kopparapu says her organization has helped more than 4,000 students learn about tech and has raised over $130,000 to hold more tech-focused events.
