Sunak spoke at Finchley United Synagogue Monday night after Hamas attacked Israel over the weekend, killing over 1,000. 'As the Prime Minister of this country, I am unequivocal,' Sunak said. 'The people who support Hamas are fully responsible for this appalling attack. They are not militants. They are not freedom fighters. They are terrorists.
We express our steadfast and united support to the State of Israel and our unequivocal condemnation of Hamas and its appalling acts of terrorism. Here is our joint statement. We make clear that the terrorist actions of Hamas have no justification, no legitimacy, and must be universally condemned,' the statement says. 'There is never any justification for terrorism.
